Kanye West returned to X on February 1 with a series of posts addressing Donald Trump, Kamala Harris, and Democrats.
The rapper made a controversial comment about Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate for President in the last U.S. election, writing: “I used to want to fck Kamala until she lost. I don’t fck losers anymore.” The post has since been deleted.
Kanye then joked that the Democrats pressured him to remove the post about Kamala, adding, “The democrats made me take the loser post down. Naw I’m kidding. Dey don’t control black people no more. Trump 4 life.”
Later, he apologized for his initial tweet about Kamala, stating: “Kamala seems like a very nice human. I just wanna say sorry to her kids.”
In subsequent tweets, Kanye praised Trump and shared that he has regained his billionaire status now that Trump is back in office. “Trump’s back in office. Ye’s back a billionaire. The world might just be ok,” he wrote.
He also added: “Damn. Just warming up. I’m rich. I can say whatever the f*ck I want. I do this for the broke me. Shout out to broke me, this one’s for you.”
