A Nigerian woman, Evelyn Isaac, has publicly accused her husband, Isaac Mefo, of physically assaulting her.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, February 9, 2025, the Uyo-based mother of two expressed her frustration, stating that she can no longer endure the abuse.
“God will punish you, Isaac Mefo, for beating me this afternoon. I have tolerated enough,” she wrote.

Seeking strength during this difficult time, she added:”God, I need all the strength and love I can get right now, and I know You will do it for me.”

The revelation comes just two months after the couple celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary in December 2024.
In her anniversary post, Evelyn had shared a heartfelt message wishing for more love and happiness in their marriage.
“Congratulations and happy wedding anniversary to me and mine. Wishing us more love and sweetness in our home. Happy 7 years wedding anniversary to us, my darling husband. It can only be God,” she wrote at the time.
Her latest post, however, paints a stark contrast to the celebratory message, shedding light on the ongoing domestic violence she has been facing.
