A Wyoming girl tragically succumbed to her injuries days after she and her three sisters were shot in the head by their mother in a horrific murder-suicide.

Olivia Blackmer, 7, had been fighting for her life at a Salt Lake City, Utah hospital for five days after her mother Tranyelle Harshman, 32, opened fire inside their home in Byron, Wyoming on February 10.

She had called the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office at around 1.30pm that day to report the shooting, but did not admit to firing the weapon.

Instead, she just said that a shooting had occurred at her home and she thought all four of her children were dead.

Harshman also told a dispatcher that two of her daughters could be found upstairs in their cribs, while the other two were in a downstairs bedroom.

When deputies later arrived at the scene, they found two of the girls, a 2-year-old and a 9-year-old, identified in a fundraiser as Brailey Blackmer, dead from gunshot wounds to their heads.

Two other children, another 2-year-old and 7-year-old Olivia, also had gunshot wounds to the head but were still alive.

Harshman was also found in her bedroom with a gunshot wound to the head but was still alive when cops moved in.

She succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital, and the surviving 2-year-old died a short while later at the scene.
