Cristiano Ronaldo’s luxury private jet has been grounded at Manchester Airport due to a technical issue, according to reports.
The £61 million Bombardier Global Express 6500, featuring Ronaldo’s CR7 logo and a silhouette of his signature goal celebration, landed at the airport last Friday and remained on the ground as of Tuesday afternoon.
The Sun reports that the jet is expected to stay at the airport while undergoing repairs. Engineers discovered a crack in one of the aircraft’s windows and are currently awaiting a replacement part.
The jet was spotted at Manchester Airport near the plane that transported Manchester City’s squad to Madrid for their Champions League playoff second leg.
It remains unclear whether Ronaldo was on board when the aircraft arrived last Friday.
