Chioma Favour Ohakwe, a dance instructor, has shared the unique method she uses to teach visually impaired students how to dance.
The Bethesda School for the Blind recently posted videos of their students confidently performing trending dance moves, leaving many viewers curious about how they learned the steps despite their visual impairment.
In response, Chioma released a video demonstrating her teaching technique. Since the students cannot rely on sight, she guides them using touch—allowing them to feel her movements by holding onto her body as she performs the steps.
This tactile approach enables them to accurately replicate the dance.
