A Grade I Area Court in Lugbe, Abuja, has officially dissolved the four-year marriage between Shuiba Abdullahi and his wife, Aisha Abdullahi, citing the wife’s “bad character” as the reason for the separation.
In his petition, Shuiba alleged that his wife constantly disrespected him, making the marriage unbearable.
He stated that he no longer found peace in the relationship and had completely lost interest in continuing the union.
Presiding judge Aliyu Kagarko granted the divorce after Aisha also agreed to the separation.
The court further ordered Shuiba to allow Aisha to collect her belongings within 24 hours.
Shuiba also revealed that the marriage did not produce any children.
