Why Lucas Tindall’s First Royal Appearance Could Be Just Around The Corner

Lucas Tindall charmed royal fans last week with his playful and mischievous antics at the Cheltenham Races on New Year’s Day.

At just three years old, his lively personality is already shining through, though he has yet to make an official appearance alongside his royal cousins and senior members of the royal family.

This could soon change as Lucas approaches his fourth birthday in March. His first official outing with the royal family may coincide with the annual Easter celebrations at Windsor, following the precedent set by Prince Louis and Prince William, who both made their Easter debut at the age of four.

Lucas appears to take after his “cheeky” cousin Prince Louis, who is known for stealing the spotlight during royal events.

Lucas himself made headlines in September at the Burghley Horse Trials in Lincolnshire when he mischievously tried to pull his elder sister Lena off a crate she was sitting on. His playful antics caught the attention of his father, Mike Tindall, who didn’t look particularly amused.

Despite the mischief, the day was filled with heartwarming moments. Lucas was seen enjoying an ice cream on Mike’s shoulders and later being tossed into the air by his dad, showcasing their close bond.

Lucas also shares a special relationship with his uncle, Peter Phillips. The pair were photographed playing together, with Lucas climbing on Peter’s back, much to the delight of Peter and his girlfriend, Harriet Sperling.

Mike Tindall has previously spoken about Lucas’ boundless energy in an interview with The Telegraph. “You can’t stop him. He wants physical contact. He wants to be wrestled. He imagines himself as a ninja and just walks around with sticks whacking people,” Mike shared. “He’s such a typical boy. You almost have to run him into the ground with exercise, like a dog, otherwise he won’t sleep.”

As Lucas continues to grow, his cheeky and energetic nature could make him a standout at future royal events, starting as early as this Easter.
