Salome Adaidu, the young woman reportedly murdered by gospel singer Timileyin Ajayi in Nasarawa State, has been laid to rest.
Ajayi was arrested in Nasarawa State after allegedly being found with Adaidu’s severed head hidden in a polythene bag.
The horrific incident occurred on Sunday, January 12, in Agwan Sarki, Orozo, a community near the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Authorities, acting on an intelligence tip, apprehended Ajayi at an uncompleted building.
During questioning, Ajayi, who also identifies as a motivational speaker on TikTok, confessed to the murder, claiming he had been in a relationship with the victim for a year.
Adaidu’s burial was captured in a somber video showing a group of men lowering her coffin into the ground, accompanied by the sound of mournful cries in the background.
