Singer Ahmedu Obiabo, known as Blackface, has written an open letter to his former Plantashun Boiz bandmate, Innocent Idibia (2Baba), and his estranged wife, Annie Macaulay, amid their ongoing divorce drama.
In a post shared on his X account, the 51-year-old songwriter urged both parties to remain civil despite the challenges they are facing.
“I send good wishes to you both, Mr. & Mrs. Idibia. I’m reaching out during this time to remind us all to handle whatever proceedings are taking place with dignity and respect,” he wrote.
“As role models, we must always set positive examples for the younger generation to follow, and make the older generations proud.”
He continued, “Let’s stay strong for the family, as every relationship faces its highs and lows. I pray that God grants you both the strength to get through this. Sending my regards to your families and love to your children. With love, Blackfacenaija.”
It was recently reported that 2Baba announced his separation from Annie on January 27, 2025.
The couple, married in 2012 and parents to two daughters, revealed they had been living apart for some time and were moving toward a divorce. The initial post was deleted, but 2Baba later confirmed the news with a video.
