The Prince And Princess Of Wales’ Plans To ‘Spoil’ Their Children In 2025

2024 was a pivotal year for the Prince and Princess of Wales, marked by Princess Kate’s cancer diagnosis, which came as a shock to many.

Throughout the year, their three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—have been a tremendous source of support for Kate and have continued to captivate royal fans during public appearances.

Following such an emotionally charged year, royal author Ingrid Seward believes the couple is planning to treat their children to some special surprises in 2025.

“Kate will want to spoil them a bit,” Ingrid shared. “It’s very frightening for children when their parents face serious illness, so I think they’ll plan a few treats this year.”

She speculated that the family might take a skiing trip during the Easter holidays and could be organizing a big summer getaway, especially since they reportedly didn’t travel last year.

The author of Royal Children, which explores the lives of young royals, added: “William and Kate are cautious about exposing the children to too much public attention in this digital age. While they understand the importance of public appearances, they make a conscious effort to shield the children from unnecessary scrutiny.

“These kids have a much more grounded and informal upbringing compared to previous royal generations. They’re not surrounded by an army of nannies and staff; they spend a lot of time with their parents. The three siblings are close in age, share a love of sports, and are united by their unique circumstances, which strengthens their bond.”

Princess Kate’s Year in Review

Princess Kate publicly revealed her cancer diagnosis in March via a heartfelt video. Sitting in the grounds of Windsor Castle, she candidly described the diagnosis as a “huge shock” and shared how she took time to explain it to her children.

Despite her health challenges, Kate made several public appearances throughout the year. Highlights included her attendance at Trooping the Colour and the Wimbledon Men’s Singles Final, where she was accompanied by her sister Pippa and daughter Charlotte.

In September, Kate shared uplifting news, announcing that she had completed her chemotherapy. In a deeply personal video, she described her journey as “incredibly tough” for the entire family but expressed gratitude for the support she received.

The Princess capped off the year with her annual carol concert at Westminster Abbey and a joyous family Christmas celebration at Sandringham, hosted by King Charles and Queen Camilla.

Looking ahead, it seems 2025 will be a year of healing and joy for the Wales family, with special moments planned to create lasting memories.
