Earlier this week, Meghan made waves with the release of the trailer for her upcoming lifestyle documentary With Love, Meghan. However, it has now been disclosed that, despite being filmed in a large Californian kitchen, the show was not filmed in Meghan’s glamorous Montecito home with Prince Harry but rather at an ultra-luxurious wedding venue just nearby.
Nevertheless, the former Suits star ensured the show stayed authentic by incorporating several items from her personal home kitchen.
One standout item was the vibrant yellow-and-green lemon squeezer Meghan used in the trailer, which was also featured in her previous Netflix show Harry and Meghan last year. In that show, she used the squeezer to prepare a birthday cake for her son, Prince Archie. The utensil is from Zulay Kitchen.
Another familiar item was the beautiful white embossed bowl she used to hold chopped strawberries while making a dessert for her friend Abigail Spencer. The bowl, called the “Adélaïde” bowl, is from Astier de Villatte and was seen in a teaser for her unofficially launched lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, last year.
While some products in the trailer appear to be new, Meghan made an effort to keep the style consistent with that of her Montecito home. For example, the elegant dog bed in the clip featured the “Amani” cover and cushion in “Sea” from the dog lifestyle brand Foggy Dog.
Though it’s not the same bed as the one previously seen in Meghan’s home office, it is from the same brand that provided Guy, the Sussexes’ family dog, with a bed featured during Meghan’s 40×40 initiative in 2021.
The trailer was shared on Meghan’s newly launched Instagram account, which she introduced on New Year’s Day.
In her second post, she captioned the video: “I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it. Wishing you all a fantastic new year! Thanks to our amazing crew and the team @netflix. Beyond grateful for the support – and fun! As ever, Meghan.”
