Brazilian footballer Hulk has married his ex-wife’s niece, Camila Angelo, in a religious wedding ceremony. Hulk, who plays for Atletico Mineiro, wed Camila on Friday, having previously married her in a civil ceremony in 2020.
Celebrating their union, Hulk shared on Instagram: “Before God and the promises of our love, we unite in one heart, beginning our eternity together, life! I love you.”
Hulk was previously married to Camila’s aunt, Iran Angelo, with whom he had three children over their 12-year marriage: sons Ian and Tiago, and daughter Alice, who are cousins to Camila.
In 2020, Hulk shocked many by marrying Camila after his relationship with Iran ended. The following year, they announced they were expecting their first child, Zaya, and last year, they revealed they were expecting their second child, Aisha.
The wedding took place in Hulk’s hometown of Campina Grande, as reported by G Show.
Hulk wore a wine-colored suit as he walked down the aisle with his mother, while Camila wore an embroidered dress with a veil by designer Samuel Cirnansck, walking down the aisle with her father. The ceremony was held at The Diocesan Cathedral of Our Lady of the Conception, with the church filled with white roses.
Another celebration is planned for January 7 at a luxury resort in Joao Pessoa.
