Patriots’ Jabrill Peppers Pleads Guilty To Cocaine Possession Ahead Of Domestic Violence Trial

New England Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers appeared in a Massachusetts courtroom on Thursday, pleading guilty to a charge of cocaine possession.

The 29-year-old, dressed in a blue suit and white shirt, admitted to the judge that the powdery substance found in his wallet during his October arrest for domestic violence was an illegal drug.

As part of the plea agreement, Peppers was ordered to remain drug-free and avoid any legal trouble for the next four months.

Despite this, Peppers still faces three additional charges stemming from the same incident, including strangulation and assault and battery. Authorities allege that during an argument with his girlfriend on October 5, Peppers pushed her head into a wall and choked her.

Peppers has denied the allegations, with his attorney asserting they have video evidence to support his defense.

The trial, initially delayed due to a water main break at the courthouse, is scheduled to proceed later on Thursday, beginning with jury selection.
