Nigerian Cleric Apostle Abel Damina Claims ‘Adam And Eve Did Not Eat Anything In Eden’

Apostle Abel Damina, a Nigerian cleric, recently stirred controversy by stating that Adam and Eve did not eat anything in the Garden of Eden, which led to God’s curse on the earth.

While preaching to his congregation, the cleric questioned whether anyone in the audience was present when Adam and Eve were in the garden to confirm if they ate anything forbidden.

He said, “Adam and Eve ate nothing. They didn’t eat anything. Were you there? You weren’t there. They ate nothing. So how do we know they ate anything? Jesus was there. Was Jesus in the Garden of Eden? Yes! Jesus explained what happened. Mark 17:18.”

He continued, “Do you know that if Adam and Eve had eaten something, they wouldn’t be sinners? It’s not what people eat that makes them sinners. You can’t be a sinner by eating or drinking something.

“I’ve told you alcohol is not a sin, and cigar is not a sin. Am I saying you should smoke? Use common sense from your father’s house—cigars will shorten your life.”
