The Duchess of Sussex is known for her attention to detail and generosity, and her neighbors in Montecito are no exception to her kindness.
In the trailer for her upcoming Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, which coincides with the launch of her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, Meghan is seen baking, hosting friends, and sharing floral arrangement tips for her stunning $29 million mansion.
Gift-giving has long been Meghan’s love language. On her former lifestyle blog, The Tig, she once wrote: “When it comes to gifts, be it breakfast in bed, a sweet love note, or a single flower… it really is the thought that counts.”
Her generosity extends to her exclusive Montecito community. Oprah Winfrey, who lives nearby at her estate, “Promised Land,” shared how Meghan surprised her with a thoughtful Christmas gift last year.
The Duchess sent Oprah a Tatcha Hinoki skincare set, which includes a luxurious body wash, body milk, and body oil infused with the scent of Japanese cypress.
Oprah praised the gift, saying: “This is a favorite thing—with the scent of a forest—sent to me by my neighbor Meghan. If you were to come into my house, you’d see this body wash, body oil, and body milk right by the tub.”
This isn’t Meghan’s first display of generosity toward friends. Ahead of the launch of American Riviera Orchard, she gifted 50 packages of her homemade jams to Hollywood A-listers.
The packages, beautifully presented in serving bowls filled with lemons and hand-picked flowers, were sent to stars like Kris Jenner, Chrissy Teigen, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Abigail Spencer, her former Suits co-star.
Actress Mindy Kaling, another recipient, gushed on Instagram: “This is like an ad for sunshine and happiness.”
Meghan’s thoughtfulness and love for spreading joy continue to shine, both at home and beyond.
