Zara and Mike Tindall enjoyed a fun-filled day at the races on Wednesday, accompanied by their three children, Mia, Lena, and Lucas.
The family of five seemed to revel in the excitement as they watched the sporting action from the stands. The Tindall children were especially animated, with Mia, ten, and Lena, six, beaming with joy while cheering from the sidelines. Lucas, three, stole the show with his enthusiastic fist-clenching and triumphant roars of celebration during the event.
In one particularly endearing moment, Lucas was photographed looking victorious while holding a snack, a snapshot that delighted royal fans. Many took to social media to comment on Lucas’s resemblance to his grandmother, Princess Anne, especially noting their shared enthusiasm for horse racing.

Princess Anne, 74, is renowned for her equestrian achievements, having competed in the 1976 Montreal Olympics on the Queen’s horse, Goodwill, and winning a gold medal at the European Eventing Championships in 1971, followed by two silvers in 1975.
Following in her mother’s footsteps, Zara has established her own impressive equestrian career, earning a silver medal in team eventing at the London 2012 Olympics. Speaking to PEOPLE, Zara shared insights into her family’s enduring passion for horses.
“There’s always horse conversation going on,” she said. “Our horses are part of our family, so we’re constantly discussing performances and things like that… It’s amazing to have horses in our lives and to work with them every day. The bond between horse and rider, or owner and horse, is incredible. We’re very fortunate to share that.”
