A tragic incident occurred in Kabwareng village, Nandi South, where a Kenyan man, Hannise Simani Juma, took his own life after fatally stabbing his wife, Winnie Akusuha.
Reports indicate that the attack took place at Winnie’s parents’ home, where Hannise fatally wounded her before ingesting rat poison and slashing his neck.
The bodies of both victims were transported to Jumuia Friends Kaimosi Hospital mortuary, and an investigation is underway.
The couple leaves behind three children, a son and two daughters.
