Chloe Bailey, 26, and Nigerian artist Burna Boy recently fueled dating rumors after being spotted together multiple times in Lagos, Nigeria, last month. Videos circulating online showed the pair looking cozy at various hotspots.
Despite the speculation, neither Bailey nor Burna Boy has publicly confirmed or denied the rumors.
During an appearance on The Breakfast Club on Wednesday, January 8, Chloe was asked about her connection to Burna Boy. The conversation came up while discussing her recent NAACP Image Awards nomination.
When asked if Burna Boy would be her date for the event, Chloe playfully dodged the question, saying, “You’ll have to ask him.”
The hosts pressed further about her relationship with the Afrobeats star, but Chloe skillfully redirected the conversation.
“Nigeria was so beautiful,” she said, laughing along with the hosts. “I had the best time.” She went on to rave about the food and nightlife in Lagos, avoiding any direct comment about Burna Boy.
When asked outright if they were in a relationship, Chloe declined to give a clear answer, stating, “I’m a grown woman.”
She also dismissed any rumors about Burna Boy being seen with another woman after her departure from Lagos.
“He’s a grown man,” she remarked. “Just like I’m a grown woman.”
