Hector David Jr., best known for portraying the Green Ranger in Power Rangers, has been sentenced to jail after pleading guilty to misdemeanor battery in a Canyon County Court. The charges stem from an assault incident in Idaho last year.
The court sentenced David to 180 days in jail, suspending 135 days of the term. This means he will serve 45 days, provided he maintains good behavior to avoid additional incarceration. He was also placed on two years of supervised probation and ordered to complete 100 hours of community service.
The incident occurred in July when David was involved in a dispute over a parking spot in Nampa, Idaho, with an elderly man using a walker. The confrontation escalated, leading David to shove the man to the ground. Fortunately, the victim was not seriously injured.
After the altercation, David fled the scene in his truck. Authorities were able to identify him with assistance from the community, leading to an arrest warrant and formal battery charges later that month.
