Donald Trump Inaugurated The 47th President Of The United States

Donald Trump has been inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States, marking his historic return to the White House for a second term.

This unprecedented comeback follows his first tenure as the 45th president from 2017 to 2021. The swearing-in ceremony was held in the Capitol Rotunda due to cold weather conditions outside.

Trump took the oath of office using Abraham Lincoln’s Bible, with Chief Justice John Roberts administering the oath.

Reciting the solemn words, Trump pledged: “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

Prior to Trump’s swearing-in, JD Vance, the newly elected Vice President and former Ohio senator (2023–2025), took his oath of office.

The inauguration was attended by several prominent figures, including Elon Musk, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, and Google CEO Sundar Pichai.
