A woman has sustained severe injuries after leaving a s*x toy inside her body during an MRI scan, resulting in a dangerous interaction between the device and the powerful magnets used in the procedure.
The s*x toy, which was inserted into the patient’s rectum, caused a hazardous reaction when the MRI’s magnetic forces interacted with its metal components. A scan image revealed the device being pulled through the patient’s body, potentially causing damage to internal organs and tissue along the way.
The disturbing image, which has gone viral on social media, was shared by an X user with the warning: “Never wear a butt plug to your MRI appointment. My god….”
According to reports, the strong magnetic forces of the MRI pulled the metal core of the silicone toy through the patient’s body, moving at what was described as “the speed of sound” and ultimately reaching her chest cavity.
The woman, who had purchased the toy believing it was made entirely of silicone and safe for use in an MRI, was unaware that the toy contained a metal core that would react to the magnetic field.
Health officials have since clarified the situation, revealing that the 22-year-old patient had not disclosed the presence of the s*x toy before the scan. After the procedure, she began screaming in pain, feeling nauseous and faint.
An ambulance was called, and the patient was transported to the hospital for further evaluation. A radiologist had checked her before her transport to ensure her condition was stable.
