A lifeless body of a yet-to-be identified lady has been found at Ombi I area of Lafia metropolis in Nasarawa State.
A Facebook user, John Akoloaga Alpha, who disclosed this in a post said the corpse was found behind their compound in Ombi I, Lafia on Saturday morning, January 18, 2025.
According to him, the police has commenced investigation into the matter as no one has come forward to identify the deceased.
Sharing his lamentation, he said that his family members in the compound have been arrested in connection with the incident and therefore appealed to anyone with useful information to come forward.

‘We are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a deceased woman whose body was discovered in our compound in Ombi 1, Lafia, off Nasarawa Polytechnic, Lafia,’ he wrote.
‘On the morning of today 18th January, 2025, we woke up to the shocking discovery of a woman’s body behind our compound. Unfortunately, no one has come forward to identify the deceased, and the police have commenced their investigation.
Je continues, ‘Regrettably, our family members in the compound have been arrested by the police in connection with the incident. We are therefore appealing to anyone with useful information to come forward and assist us in this difficult time.
