Princess Rajwa and Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan made the most of their UK visit with a private double date alongside Prince Abdul Mateen and Princess Anisha Rosnah of Brunei.
The royal couples kept their outing understated, sharing a glimpse of their time together through Instagram.
In a heartwarming photo, Princess Rajwa stunned in an elegant all-black outfit, while Princess Anisha looked radiant in a pale blue tweed blazer paired with black cigarette trousers. Crown Prince Hussein captioned the image: “With our dear friends Prince Abdul Mateen and Princess Anisha Rosnah of Brunei.”
Prince Abdul Mateen added his own heartfelt note: “Wonderful seeing our dear friends, Crown Prince Al Hussein and Princess Rajwa.”
Though details of their evening remain private, it’s likely the group caught up over a meal at an exclusive London venue.
The couples share a longstanding friendship. In 2023, Prince Mateen, his father Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, and the Prince and Princess of Wales attended Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa’s wedding in Jordan.
Reflecting on the event, Prince Mateen posted: “A huge congratulations to my friend Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa. Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness.”
Both Crown Prince Hussein and Prince Abdul Mateen are Sandhurst graduates, much like Prince William and Prince Harry, further cementing their bond.
Earlier in the day, Crown Prince Hussein also reunited with Prince William at Windsor Castle. Sharing photos of the meeting, Hussein wrote: “With my dear friend His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales, at Windsor Castle today.”
Prince William responded warmly, saying: “Welcoming The Crown Prince of Jordan, Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, to Windsor this morning.”
The two princes have maintained a close relationship over the years, even watching the England versus Panama World Cup match together in 2018 at Beit Al Urdun Palace during William’s visit to Jordan.
