Self-proclaimed relationship expert Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has publicly confirmed her relationship with businessman Ikechukwu Ogbonna, also known as IVD.
In a heartfelt post shared on January 1, Blessing revealed that she has known IVD for three years and expressed gratitude for meeting him during a challenging period in his life.
Back in October 2022, IVD lost his wife, Bimbo, in a tragic fire accident at their Lagos home. Following the incident, Bimbo’s family accused him of physical and emotional abuse during their marriage, leading to widespread backlash online. IVD was later arraigned by the Lagos State government over the controversial circumstances surrounding his wife’s death.
During the public fallout, Blessing stood by IVD, even defending him online. Her involvement in the case led to her imprisonment in March 2023 on allegations of cyberbullying. She regained her freedom in April 2023.
It seems their bond deepened during this tumultuous period, evolving from friendship into romance.
In her post, Blessing professed her love and commitment to IVD, stating she is ready to honor, respect, and submit to him. She wrote:
**”It’s been 3 years of knowing you. I remember when you just said thank you via DM, and I replied it’s just my opinion. Then you wanted to hurt yourself, and I ran to you, watched you for 7 hours to ensure you were fine.
The day I stepped into prison for something I didn’t even know about, I decided to truly know you. I’m glad I never knew you before because you were a married man. I’m happy I met you during your time of trouble and told you, Ikechukwu Darry Ogbonna, I will hold your hands, and we’ll walk through this together.
They tried and are still trying, but they don’t know how stubborn I am with love. Ask my mama. I don’t care about your past; the man I met is a sweet soul.
For the first time, let the world see me love a MAN so right. They think I’m incapable of loving a MAN because I’ve built walls and set boundaries. But with you, Ikechukwu Darry Ogbonna, I’ll bend all my rules and break my boundaries.

Her declaration comes shortly after IVD shared his appreciation for her on his Instagram page.
