Australia: Model And Dj Tragically Passed Away Following Tumble From A Building

Courtney Mills, 37, fell from a balcony at a unit complex in Kuta while visiting her two dogs on Friday. She sustained critical injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where she underwent multiple emergency surgeries.

Despite medical efforts, she passed away two days later, surrounded by her family.

Ms. Mills had spent several years living in Bali, a place she considered her second home, before returning to Melbourne to live with her family.

Her grieving family has paid heartfelt tributes to her adventurous and vibrant spirit.

“She was beautiful, big-hearted, happy, and go-lucky,” her mother, Diane Mayne, told Nine News through tears. “She lived life to the fullest.”

Ms. Mills was a beloved DJ who performed at some of Melbourne’s most iconic venues, including Metropol, Cushion, Secret Garden, Hotel Barkley, and Motel Eve, before embarking on an international career.

Her sister, Kiani, confirmed that her death has been ruled an accident.

“We’re just mourning a life lost far too soon,” Kiani told the Herald Sun. “The most beautiful thing we’ve been able to do over the past few days is reminisce about the incredible life she lived and how full it was.”

She added, “Courtney would drive hours just to DJ for one hour. She would fly across the country to do what she loved so passionately. For her, it wasn’t a job—it was her life. Being behind the decks gave her a sense of freedom, and we got to see her light up rooms.”

Courtney Mills will be remembered for her boundless energy, love for music, and adventurous spirit.
