Welsh acting legend Anthony Hopkins has suffered a heartbreaking loss as his California home was destroyed in the catastrophic wildfires sweeping through Los Angeles.
The 87-year-old Oscar-winning actor is now among a growing number of Hollywood stars who have lost their homes to the devastating blazes, which have forced over 30,000 residents to evacuate, including many celebrities.
Hopkins’ Pacific Palisades property, a luxurious four-bedroom, five-bathroom home purchased for $6 million in 2021, was reduced to ashes by the flames. Photos reveal the charred remains of the classic colonial-style residence.

This home symbolized a new chapter for Hopkins, who had previously sold his longtime Malibu oceanfront property for $10.5 million—more than double its 2001 purchase price.
