A middle-aged woman, identified as Alice Emmanuel, tragically collapsed and died in front of the Benue Links Park in Area 3, Abuja, on January 1, 2025, around 9:25 a.m.
Reports indicate that the woman had just stepped out of a taxi when she suddenly collapsed.
The park manager promptly alerted the police, who arrived at the scene and transported her to Karu General Hospital.
Unfortunately, doctors confirmed her death upon arrival. Authorities noted that there were no signs of violence on her body.
SP Josephine Adeh, the spokesperson for the police command, confirmed the incident. She stated that the deceased’s family has been notified and that her remains have been deposited in the hospital morgue.
