The royal family gathered in full force on Christmas Day to attend a service at St Mary Magdalene Church in Norfolk.
While the event was filled with festive cheer for King Charles, Queen Camilla, and their family, one amusing moment caught the public’s attention when Prince William had to phone a protection officer for assistance with his wife, Princess Kate.
As is customary, the royals greeted members of the public who had waited outside the church, spending time waving, shaking hands, and accepting gifts from well-wishers. Princess Kate lingered longer than usual, ensuring everyone was acknowledged.
Meanwhile, Prince William, patiently waiting with their children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—was eventually compelled to call for help to encourage Kate to wrap up her interactions.

Although royal protocol governs whether gifts can be accepted, the children were allowed to keep the chocolates and plush toys handed to them by well-wishers.
The Queen’s children, Tom Parker Bowles and Laura Lopes, also attended the service with their families, arriving privately.
