Sylvester Stallone Calls Himself A “Coward” For Sending Breakup Letter To Jennifer Flavin Via FedEx

Sylvester Stallone has acknowledged his past mistakes, admitting that he acted as a “coward” when he sent his longtime wife, Jennifer Flavin, a breakup letter through FedEx.

In an interview on Tuesday, December 3, with Fox News host Sean Hannity, the actor expressed regret over the decision he made in 1994, when he mailed the letter to Flavin after six years of dating.

Stallone told Hannity, “That’s the most insincere breakup you can get,” before calling himself a “coward” and explaining, “You put it down in words because you don’t have the guts to do it face to face.”

He attributed the poor decision to his “history with relationships,” acknowledging that part of him didn’t truly want to end things with Flavin.

In 1994, Flavin told People magazine that Stallone had sent her a six-page letter breaking off their relationship. She revealed that while she wanted to speak with him, she wasn’t willing to beg him to return after learning of his affair with model Janice Dickinson.

However, a year later, Stallone and Flavin reconciled, getting married in 1997, and remained together through ups and downs. In 2022, Flavin filed for divorce after 25 years of marriage, but the couple ultimately decided to work through their issues and reconciled.

This past May, Stallone and Flavin celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary with their three daughters: Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet.
