A 26-year-old woman has reportedly been murdered by her boyfriend in Port Shepstone, South Africa, on Christmas morning, December 25, 2024.
KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda stated that the man allegedly assaulted his girlfriend after she revealed to him that she had been r*ped.
The man, who has since been arrested, reportedly contacted the woman’s mother around 8 a.m. to inform her of a fight that escalated into an assault.
When the family arrived at his home, they found the victim partially unclothed on a mattress, with visible head injuries.
The boyfriend allegedly told the mother that the victim had claimed she was r*ped the day before but became angry when her friends were unable to verify the story.
