Ogun State: Man Slumps And Dies Outside Fuel Station

A 45-year-old man, identified as Alani Rasaq, tragically passed away after collapsing in front of a fuel station located opposite the Fire Brigade office in Ifo, Ogun State, on Tuesday, December 17.

The incident was reported to the Ifo police division by the fuel station manager, Segun Afolabi. According to Afolabi, the man collapsed at around 3 p.m. within the premises of the station.

Police officers promptly arrived at the scene and transported the victim to the General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead by the medical team on duty.

The deceased’s body has since been moved to the Ifo mortuary, and an autopsy is currently underway to determine the cause of death, as confirmed by the command’s spokesperson, SP Omolola Odutola.
