The suspect was found sleeping on couch after allegedly stabbing sister and her 2-year-old daughter.
Kendrick Rayvon Fisher, 29, has been charged with capital murder following the deaths of his 28-year-old sister and her two-year-old child. Officers discovered their bodies early Friday morning.
Police were alerted to the scene at an apartment on Richmond near Shadowbriar by someone who flagged them down, reporting that the woman and child were being held hostage.
Upon entering the apartment, officers found Fisher asleep on the couch. Further inspection revealed the lifeless bodies of the mother and daughter, both bearing stab wounds.
Fisher reportedly had injuries consistent with a physical altercation and was found with blood-stained clothing, according to authorities.
After being questioned by detectives, Fisher was formally charged with capital murder and booked into the Harris County Jail.
KHOU 11’s Jason Miles confirmed that Fisher is the brother of the victim and the uncle of the toddler.
