The couple, who welcomed their second daughter, Constance, in early December 2024, posed with their dog Pancake, eldest daughter Victoire, and baby Constance for the festive snapshot.
Although the children’s faces were blurred for privacy, both daughters were dressed in adorable holiday outfits, with baby Constance wearing a charming Christmas-themed onesie. The family captioned the photo: “Merry Christmas from the 5 of us.”
Marie first announced Constance’s arrival on Instagram, writing: “Our family is growing again with the arrival of our little Constance [heart emoji] Someone was eager to meet her.”
The couple had expressed their desire for a small age gap between their children, and Constance now joins her big sister Victoire, born in April 2023.
In a rare interview with Point de Vue, Louis and Marie shared their experiences as new parents. Marie described Victoire as a delightful baby, saying, “She’s such a lovely child, she’s making us forget all the small annoyances. She’s sleeping well at night, so we can’t complain.”
Even the family dog, Pancake, has adapted to the growing household. Louis explained, “At first, he was a bit stressed when he heard Victoire crying, but he adapted very quickly. He’s very protective and often watches over her. They’re starting to play together, and their relationship is wonderful.”
The birth of Victoire was especially meaningful for Princess Stéphanie of Monaco, as it marked her first grandchild. Louis recalled the emotional moment: “She came to the maternity ward the day after Victoire’s birth with my dad [Daniel Ducruet], my paternal grandmother, and Marie’s mum. It was a magical moment I’ll never forget.”
Princess Stéphanie has been a hands-on grandmother, despite her busy schedule. Louis shared, “She gives a lot of love to her grandchild. Whenever she has time, she asks to look after Victoire. When she was born, my mother often asked us: ‘Do you want to go out to the cinema? I can look after the baby.’”
Louis and Marie, who first met as students in 2011, tied the knot in 2019 and are now cherishing life as a family of five.
