Angry residents in Adavi-Eba, Kogi State, have brutally beaten a man after accusing him of theft.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Friday, November 29, 2024.
Reports indicate that the suspect is known for stealing phones and other valuables by reaching through the windows of homes.
He was allegedly caught attempting to steal phones from a residence and was apprehended by the occupants.
When questioned, the suspect was vague about his origins but mentioned the areas of Nagazi and Ihima.
He has since been handed over to the relevant authorities.
