Elon Musk is celebrating Christmas with a fresh new look, sharing a photo of himself dressed as Santa Claus and appearing noticeably slimmer.
The CEO of Tesla and SpaceX posted the image on his social media platform, X, on Christmas Day, captioning it “Ozempic Santa.” He later added a playful touch in the comments, referencing last year’s film “Cocaine Bear” by saying, “Like Cocaine Bear, but Santa and Ozempic!”
He further joked, “Technically, Mounjaro, but that doesn’t have the same ring to it,” alongside a laughing emoji. In the photo, Musk is posed at an angle, smiling with a bushy white beard, clad in the classic red and white Santa outfit.
Mounjaro, similar to Ozempic, is an injectable medication mainly used for diabetes management but has gained fame for its weight-loss benefits. Musk has openly endorsed GLP-1 drugs like Ozempic and Mounjaro, previously advocating for their affordability due to their potential to enhance public health.
In a previous post, Musk shared his personal experience with Ozempic, humorously noting that high doses made him “fart & burp like Barney from the Simpsons.” He has also expressed a preference for Mounjaro, stating it appears to have fewer side effects and works more effectively than Ozempic.
The use of GLP-1 medications for weight loss has become a trend among several celebrities, including Scott Disick, Chelsea Handler, Sharon Osbourne, and Whoopi Goldberg, all of whom have reported positive outcomes with these treatments.
On the other hand, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a U.S. political figure, has criticized the prevalent use of such drugs, claiming that pharmaceutical companies exploit Americans’ addictions to medications while promoting unhealthy lifestyles.
Regardless of the controversies, Musk continues to advocate for greater access to these medications, and his festive slim Santa appearance has drawn attention for both his holiday spirit and his health transformation.
