King Charles and Queen Camilla are hosting numerous family members at Sandringham this year. The Prince of Wales recently revealed that 45 people would be gathering “all in one room” at the estate.
Leah St Clair-Lewis, from WRVS Services Welfare, a charity supporting British Army personnel, shared details of her conversation with Prince William about his Christmas plans.
She said, “We spoke about what he was up to for Christmas and enjoying walks with his dogs at Sandringham. He mentioned there will be 45 of them under one roof for Christmas. He didn’t specify if it was just for one day or the whole period, but they must need a very long table.”
Princess Beatrice will also join the festivities after altering her holiday travel plans due to medical advice.
Expecting her second child in early spring, Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi were initially set to spend Christmas overseas with his family but decided to remain in the UK to avoid long-distance travel.
This Christmas will also be a first for Princess Eugenie, who will spend the holidays with her in-laws instead of joining her family at Sandringham.
