Andrew Tate Ordered To Repay £2 Million To Police Over Unpaid Taxes

Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have been ordered to forfeit over £2 million following a Westminster Magistrates Court ruling over claims they owe millions in unpaid taxes from their online businesses.

The funds, held in seven frozen bank accounts, include cryptocurrency assets linked to the brothers and a woman identified as J. Investigators revealed that the Tates funneled nearly $12 million into accounts under J’s name, despite her having no involvement in their businesses.

Chief Magistrate Paul Goldspring described the situation as a “complex financial matrix” but ultimately concluded it was a “straightforward cheat of the revenue.”

Andrew Tate criticized the ruling, calling it a “co-ordinated attack,” and stated:
“First, they labeled me a human trafficker, yet they couldn’t find a single woman to stand against me. When that narrative crumbled, they turned to outright theft — freezing my accounts for more than two years and now seizing everything they could. This is not justice; it’s a co-ordinated attack on anyone who dares to challenge the system.”

Devon and Cornwall Police, who initiated the case, stated:
“Our investigation revealed that Andrew and Tristan Tate evaded taxes and laundered money through accounts in Devon. Between 2014 and 2022, they accrued substantial earnings without paying tax or VAT, concealing the origins of their income through ‘front’ accounts, constituting proceeds of crime.”

The brothers have 28 days to appeal the decision.

This case follows earlier claims presented in July, where the court heard the brothers were “serial tax and VAT evaders.” Prosecutor Sarah Clarke KC said, “Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate are brazen about evading taxes.”

Additionally, the brothers face separate criminal allegations in Romania, including charges of human trafficking, forming a criminal gang, and, in Andrew Tate’s case, r@pe. They are expected to be extradited to the UK.
