Prince Harry made an unexpected appearance in Canada on Sunday but was notably without his wife, Meghan Markle.
The Duke of Sussex attended the Grey Cup in Vancouver to promote the 2025 Invictus Games, which will be held in Vancouver and Whistler. While Meghan accompanied Harry earlier this year to mark the one-year countdown to the Games, this time she stayed at their Montecito, California home.
This comes shortly after Meghan enjoyed a night out in Los Angeles to celebrate the launch of her close friend and hair colorist Kadi Lee’s haircare line.
Since their joint trip to Colombia in August, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made several solo appearances. Harry has traveled to New York, the UK, South Africa, and Lesotho in recent months, sparking speculation about whether the couple is pursuing separate business ventures.
However, a source clarified that their independent projects have always been part of their strategy:
“Harry and Meghan have consistently pursued solo ventures in connection with their individual interests but remain deeply committed to their joint efforts through Archewell,” the source explained. “Together they have exciting projects in the pipeline, all driving forward their shared mission for positive global impact.”
While Harry has been reconnecting with his patronages and preparing for the next Invictus Games, Meghan is focusing on launching her long-anticipated lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, which she teased on Instagram earlier this year.
Additionally, Meghan has been working on a Netflix series that blends her love of cooking with themes of friendship and entertainment. Despite these creative pursuits, the Duchess reportedly has no plans to return to acting.
Their respective endeavors underline their commitment to both individual and shared goals, as they continue to build their influence on both personal and professional fronts.
