Video: Rapper Drake Clashes With NBA Star Demar Derozan At Raptors Game, Seemingly Calls Him ‘P***y’

Drake made his feelings toward DeMar DeRozan very clear during the Sacramento Kings’ visit to Toronto on Saturday, November 2, taking jabs at the former Toronto Raptor, apparently in reaction to DeRozan’s appearance in Kendrick Lamar’s recent music video “Not Like Us.”

The evening began with a jersey retirement ceremony honoring Vince Carter.

However, when asked by TSN if DeRozan should also have his jersey retired by the Raptors, Drake did not hold back, stating, “If you ever put up a DeRozan banner, I’ll go up there and pull it down myself.”

Drake’s animosity continued throughout the game, as he reportedly glared at DeRozan and allegedly mouthed an expletive at him.

Following the game, DeRozan was informed of Drake’s comments about the banner and replied, “He gon’ have a long way to climb to take it down. Tell him good luck.”

The tension appears to stem from DeRozan’s cameo in Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” video, which some fans interpret as a dig at Drake. Lamar even referenced DeRozan in the song, rapping, “I’m glad DeRoz’ came home, y’all didn’t deserve him neither.”

Despite the situation, DeRozan has attempted to remain neutral, expressing that he still respects Drake.

Whether this public feud will escalate or fade remains to be seen, but it’s evident that Drake isn’t ready to make amends just yet.
