Nigeria’s Chidimma Adetshina is celebrating her achievement after securing the first runner-up position at the 73rd Miss Universe competition in Mexico City on Saturday.
Miss Denmark, Victoria Kjaer Theilvig, was crowned Miss Universe 2024, outshining 124 contestants from around the world to claim the prestigious title.
In an interview after the competition, Chidimma expressed her joy, saying, “I’m so excited. I don’t have words to describe what I’m feeling right now, but I’m so proud of myself, and I just made history.”
