A man, referred to as Zimbabwe’s own “Baltasar,” faced violent retaliation from a group of furious husbands who accused him of having extramarital affairs with their wives.
Footage shared by Crimewatch Zimbabwe on X (formerly known as Twitter) shows members of the Mapostori sect restraining and beating the man with rubber sticks.
In the video, recorded by a bystander, the assailants interrogate him, asking, “How many women have you slept with, and why?” According to reports, the man allegedly pursued these affairs after some women complained that their husbands were not satisfying them.
The incident sparked a wave of reactions on social media, with many users urging the police to take action against the attackers.
Viewers expressed outrage over the assault, highlighting a recent uptick in arrests related to violence against cheating partners and their alleged lovers.
