Dr. David Diffine’s medical license has been suspended after allegations of inappropriate conduct at his clinic.
The Arkansas State Medical Board found that Diffine’s actions “exhibit an ongoing danger to the public in his continued practice of medicine.”
The incident came to light when a complaint was filed with the board, alleging that Diffine engaged in sexual contact with staff members and sexually harassed them.
The complaint was accompanied by a video from a security camera that allegedly captured Diffine performing a sexual act with a staff member while other staff members were present.
Dr. Bradley Diner, a medical expert, reviewed the video and described Diffine’s behavior as “perverse.” He recommended a formal professional evaluation.
The video has now been released to the public and shows Diffine walking around the clinic naked.
Diffine faces a disciplinary hearing before the state medical board in December. In 2017, he was investigated for allegedly prescribing excessive amounts of controlled substances, but those charges were dropped due to lack of evidence.
