Singer Peter Okoye Responds To Twin Brother’s Song Theft Accusation

Peter Okoye has fired back at his twin brother and former P-Square bandmate, Paul Okoye, over accusations of song theft.

The dispute began when Peter announced the release of his new song, which Paul claims he originally wrote.

In an Instagram post, Paul alleged that they had agreed each would bring six songs they had written and performed.

However, he claims Peter went ahead and released one of his songs solo, with the support of his management.

Paul publicly criticized Peter and his management, even calling his brother an “Oloriburuku” (a derogatory term in Yoruba) in his outburst.

In response, Peter denied the allegations, asserting that he co-wrote the song with the producer.

He also accused Paul and their older brother, Jude, of attempting to remove the song from streaming platforms, vowing to fight back and keep the song available.
