Melania Trump is once again standing by her husband, Donald Trump, as he celebrates his 2024 election victory, despite having remained mostly out of the spotlight during this campaign cycle.
At his election watch party in Palm Beach, Florida, Melania, 54, held her husband’s hand and smiled as Trump addressed his supporters, declaring victory in the early hours of Wednesday morning, marking an extraordinary political comeback.
In his victory speech, the president-elect expressed his gratitude towards his “beautiful wife,” praising her for her hard work and dedication to helping others. He also took a moment to highlight her memoir Melania, which he proudly referred to as the “number one best-selling book in the country.”
The couple’s appearance at the celebration followed Melania’s return to the political scene just weeks earlier, when she introduced Trump at a high-profile rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Despite her private nature, Melania continues to support her husband, even after enduring the public scrutiny of his legal battles, including rape trials and the controversy surrounding hush money payments to a porn star.
Although largely absent from Trump’s campaign this cycle, Melania stood by his side during his victory speech, joined by their son Barron, while Trump’s older children—Don Jr., Eric, Ivanka, and Tiffany—also took the stage to celebrate.
Trump, 78, thanked his “amazing children” and pledged to “heal” the country in his remarks. He described his win as “a political victory that our country has never seen before.”
