Gospel actor and producer Moses Korede Are, popularly known as “Baba Gbenro” from the series Abattoir, has passed away.
The news was confirmed by fellow gospel actor and producer Oluwaseun Adejumobi on his verified Instagram page on Thursday, where he wrote, “Heaven’s Gain Again. The General Has Gone to Rest.”
Baba Gbenro was a prominent figure in the popular Mount Zion series Abattoir. He also founded the Calvary Movies Drama Ministry in Ogbomoso, Nigeria, and served as the CEO of Calvary Movies Television.
Fans have flocked to his last Instagram post, shared just six days ago, expressing their shock and mourning his loss.
