Queen Mary is returning to Denmark after a visit to her native Australia, accompanied by her 13-year-old twins, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine.
Photos published by MailOnline show the trio exiting a black car as they prepared to board their flight. Mary was casually stylish in blue denim jeans and a white frilly shirt, while Vincent wore a white shirt with grey jeans, and Josephine opted for a striped shirt with black jeans.
Mary’s trip included attending her niece’s wedding and spending extra time relaxing with her youngest children. Earlier in the week, she and Josephine were seen on a casual walk along Sydney’s Bronte Beach, where Mary lovingly put her arm around her daughter.
King Frederik remained in Denmark on official duties, including opening the “Powering European Industry” conference on Tuesday and a new building at the University of Copenhagen on Wednesday. He also hosted a royal hunt and attended an event at the School of Mechanical Engineering.
Notably, Mary’s daughter, Princess Isabella, did not join her on the trip, and Crown Prince Christian is currently spending his gap year in East Africa, where he will remain until next month. Mary’s last visit to Australia was in December 2023, shortly before Queen Margrethe’s surprise abdication announcement.
Mary and Frederik met at a Sydney pub during the 2000 Olympics and maintained a long-distance relationship until their engagement in October 2003. They married on May 14, 2004, in Copenhagen Cathedral and have since welcomed four children: Christian, Isabella, and twins Vincent and Josephine.
