Princess Madeleine of Sweden delighted fans on Thursday by sharing a glimpse of her family’s fantastic Halloween costumes.
Continuing a beloved tradition, the mother of three posted a snapshot on Instagram featuring her two daughters, Princess Adrienne, six, and Princess Leonore, ten, in their impressive outfits.
Princess Leonore sported a spooky ghost costume complete with dramatic eye makeup and faux blood, while her younger sister, Princess Adrienne, dressed as a fairytale character in a red gingham dress with a matching bow in her hair. The sisters struck a dramatic pose for their mother in front of a large tree.
Captioning the photo, Princess Madeleine, 42, wrote: “It’s a spooky Halloween this year!” Royal fans and friends quickly flooded the comments with praise, with one saying, “Adorably spooky! Happy Halloween!” and another adding, “Awww, such sweethearts. Happy Halloween!”
In addition to Adrienne and Leonore, Princess Madeleine and her husband, Christopher O’Neill, are also proud parents to a son, Prince Nicolas. The family has recently undergone a significant change, moving back to Stockholm after spending six years in sunny Florida.
Originally, Madeleine and Christopher had planned to return to Sweden last summer, but their relocation was postponed to allow for more preparation time. Reports indicate that they sold their seven-bedroom U.S. mansion for nearly $7 million prior to the move.
