Princess Charlene recently opened up about her twin children, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques, in an interview with the French publication Gala. The Monaco royal shared insights into the distinct personalities of her children, describing them as “curious.”
“The conversations I have with Jacques and those with Gabriella are so different, as is the time I spend with them,” Charlene explained. “Gabriella is very curious and fascinated by the world and life. She asks lots of questions and demands plenty of attention. Jacques, on the other hand, is also curious but more reserved and observant. He is naturally calm.”
The Princess also expressed her longing to spend more one-on-one time with her children, who are now nine years old. She noted that it can be challenging to find such moments, particularly as the mother of twins, but emphasized how important it is to connect with each child individually.
As the twins grow older, they have joined their parents on various outings. In April, the family visited the Monaco World exhibit at Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg.
The children were dressed warmly for the spring chill, with Gabriella wearing a cream knitted jumper dress, white tights, a brown duffle coat, and matching riding boots. Jacques mirrored his father’s polished style in stone-hued suit trousers, black leather moccasins, and a coordinating jacket.
Princess Charlene often takes her children to sporting events. In February, the family attended a Turkish Airlines EuroLeague match between AS Monaco and Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul in Monte Carlo.
A rare moment of tenderness was captured during the game, where Charlene was seen cuddling Gabriella, who sat on her lap, as they both watched the action unfold.
