The Duke of Sussex caused a stir back in September when he was spotted visiting a tattoo parlor in New York. Now, Prince Harry has finally revealed whether he went under the needle.
In a playful sketch for the upcoming Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025, Harry appears alongside country music star Jelly Roll at East Side Ink on the Lower East Side. Amid some comical miscommunication, Harry jokingly relents and allows Jelly Roll to give him his “first tattoo.”
While the Duke didn’t actually get inked, the fun moment drew plenty of laughter from fans on social media. “This is brilliant [clap emojis],” one fan commented, while another wrote, “This is so funny,” accompanied by laughing emojis.
If Harry were to get a tattoo, he wouldn’t be the first royal to do so—his cousin, Princess Eugenie, has a small circular design behind her left ear.
Jelly Roll, who is confirmed as the headliner for the Invictus Games 2025 closing ceremony, joined Harry as part of the promotional campaign for the sporting event, which will run from February 8–16.
Harry’s visit to Canada earlier this month included launching the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler school program at the Seaforth Armoury. The initiative aims to shift perceptions of service members, veterans, and individuals with disabilities.
During the event, Harry engaged with students, veterans, and Invictus Games competitors, surprising the children with tickets to the opening ceremony next year. In a heartfelt speech, the Duke shared that witnessing their enthusiasm had a “profound impact” on him.
Later, Harry surprised sports fans by attending the Grey Cup, where the Toronto Argonauts faced the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
Meanwhile, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, remained in Montecito, California, with the couple’s children, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.
However, Meghan has been a regular supporter of the Invictus Games in recent years, attending tournaments in Düsseldorf (2023), The Hague (2022), Sydney (2018), and Toronto (2017).
