Veteran Nollywood actor Stephen Alajemba, popularly known as Uwaezuoke, has stirred controversy by claiming it is both a sin and a risk for a man to marry only one or two wives.
In a recent interview with Ugwumba TV, the actor argued that having just one wife puts a man’s life in danger, while two wives might conspire to harm him.
“It’s a sin to marry one or two wives,” Uwaezuoke asserted. “If you marry one wife, your life is at risk. If you marry two, they will conspire to poison you.”
However, he suggested that marrying three or more wives ensures peace and safety. “With three or four wives, they will each focus on their own lives while you provide for them. You take turns with their meals and bedrooms,” he explained.
Uwaezuoke’s remarks have sparked discussions online, with many questioning his perspective on marriage and relationships.
